Hello there !
Engineer or Industrial Designer? And why not both?

I was born in Malaysia and raised at different places around the world before settling down in France. Very young, I was always curious about the objects surrounding me: how did they work, how were they made, where did they come from ? On the other hand, the emotions and the experiences that some products could provide always fascinated me. I decided to blend these two aspects by joining the University of Technology of Compiègne, one of France's most reputable engineering school and where I recently graduated. My knowledge of engineering and machining processes helps me understand constraints and problems that can be avoided down the road. A “beautiful” concept render is often worthless if it’s not practical.

In order to broaden and sharpen my skillset and to have a more global view of  industry, I completed my initial studies by following a business and management course at INSEAD.

I had during my studies the opportunity to intern for various companies such as BMW in Munich as an engineer and as a designer in a young French design consultancy. More recently, I had the opportunity of implementing these engineering and design principles in my daily work at Patrick Jouin’s Parisian design consultancy. Think, create, design, and innovate, through efficient technical solutions while enhancing people's life are important values to me.
